The stories in the Tales of Sumhuram draw inspiration from Oman, using several folk legends as a foundation through the author's own perspective. The narrative is guided by local culture. In some tales, specific objects and symbols from Oman are also incorporated, such as frankincense or wells. It is around these objects or symbols that the stories are built. Additionally, local folk motifs are woven in, whether through symbols or these objects. Each story concludes with a valuable lesson, including messages related to morals and mysticism, which may be connected to our daily lives.
